A remake of 1973 film of the same name. "Bulan di Atas Kuburan" is a tale of hardships in the capital city. Sahat, Tigor and Sabar ; three friends from Samosir, North Sumatra, quest after greatness whilst deperately holding on to their inner idealism.

In Casablanca, Morocco in December 1941, a cynical American expatriate meets a former lover, with unforeseen complications.
Before Sammy, his best friends were stuffed animals. Larry, an eccentric amateur taxidermist, works for Animal Services picking up road kill along the highway. Socially isolated, he's retreated into an emotional state where his only companions are the animals he's stuffed.
Murali (Balakrishna) is pursued by the brothers of Peddaraju (Sayaji Shinde), who is cooling his heels in jail. We are not told why they are look after him. Murali is the loving brother of a handicapped woman, whom he carries to the college everyday. Of course, Murali has fun escapades with a girl in his neighborhood (Sada).
